Travel from Lymington to Yarmouth or Portsmouth to Fishbourne by Wight link Ferries
Travel from Southampton to East Cowes by Red Funnel Ferries
The simplest and most picturesque way from any of the ferry terminals is via Ryde, Brading, Sandown and Shanklin, taking you along the coast.
When you leave Shanklin you travel over the downs and drop down towards Ventnor.
You will find Bonchurch Shute well sign posted to your left and as you turn into Bonchurch Shute, Elcombe is the first entrance on your right.
